The popular chipset maker Qualcomm has officially confirmed to launch of its next generation flagship processor called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 on October 21 and today the chipset appears on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench.
It is believed that the result of the benchmarking platform came out from the final production version of the chip. The benchmarking platform reveals that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagship processor has scored 2884 points in the single-core test and 8840 points in the multi-core test.
The upcoming mobile processor is believed to feature a new architecture and the same will be using a custom Oryon CPU design. It is also revealed that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 features an octa-core structure with six base cores and two high-performance cores. The base cores are clocked at 2.78GHz and the performance cores run at an impressive 4.09GHz.
