Back in December 2020, the popular mobile chipset Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor and it is meant for the flagship Smartphones of this year. As soon as the announcement of the new processor, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi adopted the same for its latest and greatest Mi 11 series. Then the popular smartphone brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, and more came forward with their flagship smartphones with the processor.
Well, now it seems that Qualcomm is gearing up to launch a new variant of the Snapdragon 888 processor and that could be Snapdragon 888 Plus and the upcoming processor appears on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench with the important specifications. According to the listing, the upcoming Snapdragon 888 Plus will feature four low-power cores at 1.80GHz, along with three Cortex-A78 clusters working at 2.42GHz, and the same also has a performance core that will provide the clocking speeds of 3.0GHz.
It is worth mentioning that the processor is tested on the smartphone with 6 GB of RAM and Android 11. It is also managed to score 1171 points in the single core test and 3704 points in the multi core test of Geekbench.
