The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially launched the latest Sony Alpha 1 II in the markets of India and it is a new full-frame mirrorless camera. It comes with impressive design and specifications. So here are the full details.

The new Sony Alpha 1 II Full-frame Mirrorless Camera comes with a 50.1MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor and the camera features BIONZ XR processor. The latest Sony Alpha 1 II also comes with ISO 100–32,000 for both stills and video. The ISO is expandable to 50–102,400. Autofocus uses a fast hybrid system with 759 phase-detection points and real-time recognition that has the power of AI. The subject detection feature of the camera also includes humans (pose estimation), animals, birds, insects, cars, trains, and airplanes.
Sony offers the new Sony Alpha 1 II with AF that works in low light down to EV-4 (with F2.0 lens). The camera can shoot continuously at 30 fps without blackout and calculates AFAE tracking up to 120 times per second. The pre-capture mode of the camera saves shots taken up to one second before the shutter is pressed.
The camera also features pixel shift mode (4-shot 16-shot), 5-axis image stabilization (8.5 stops center, 7.0 periphery), and dynamic active mode for video. The camera also comes with a 0.64″ Quad-XGA OLED viewfinder with 9.44 million dots, 0.90x magnification, and a 240Hz refresh rate. The camera also features a 3.2″ LCD monitor and the same has 4-axis tilt, 2.1 million dots, and is touch-enabled.
Video recording capabilities of the camera including 8K 10-bit 422 XAVC HS (up to 520 Mbps) and 4K from oversampled 8K5.8K. Proxy and RAW HDMI output are also available in the camera. The frame rates go up to 4K120p and Full HD240p depending on format. The camera supports formats including HEIF, JPEG, 14-bit RAW, and XAVC HS, S, S-I.
The camera also features dual CFexpress Type A SD UHS-III slots. It also comes with LAN (2.5GBASE-T), USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI Type-A, Wi-Fi (2.45GHz), and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The device features 3.5mm mic-in, headphone-out, built-in stereo mic, and mono speaker. You will be getting streaming support up to 4K30p via USB or network (RTMPSRT).
It comes with NP-FZ100 battery and the same offers up to 520 shots via LCD and the charging options of the camera including USB PD and BC-ZD1 dual charger (155 min).
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Sony Alpha 1 II Full-frame Mirrorless Camera has a price tag of ₹5,79,990 and it will be available from June 25. The device will be available through Sony Centers, Alpha Flagship stores, major electronics retailers, ShopatSC.com, and other leading e-commerce platforms.
