The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially introduced a new special edition DualSense controller for the users of the very popular gaming console dubbed the PlayStation 5 and the special edition controller is called the Sony Icon Blue Special Edition. It comes with the inspiration from the iconic blue lighting associated with the PlayStation brand since the PS4 era. The company is offering layered shades of blue across the grips and lower shell, along with a glossy pattern of the PlayStation symbols on the touchpad.
Sony has introduced the latest Sony Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller will be official on October 20 in the United States and Canada. After that, the device will be official on October 28 in Mexico and Chile. It comes with a price tag of $84.99 USD, CA$109.99, MXN $1,899, and CLP $93,490. The latest Sony Icon Blue special edition controller will be available exclusively through Walmart stores and Walmart’s official website in the respective regions.
The company also brings Katakana characters on the back of the controller that spell “PlayStation” in Japanese. The latest Sony Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller comes with all the features of the regular Sony DualSense controller. It supports haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, motion controls, a built-in microphone, and a USB-C port. The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and it is compatible with both the PlayStation 5 and supported PC or mobile platforms.
