The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially introduced in new sensor series for the smartphone and the newly announced series is called the Sony LYTIA series brings new 50MP image sensors.
It is worth mentioning that the company offered its IMX series for its latest and most advanced image sensors for smartphones. The newly announced series is having the new LYT500, which has a small 1/2.93 inch sensor with 0.6 micron pixels. While the higher end LYT700 is HDR enabled and the same features a 1/1.56 inch sensor size. It will be supporting the first imaging CMOS to offer a “2 layer transistor pixel structure. Talking about the flagship sensor dubbed the LYT900 and the same features a 1 inch (1/0.98 inches) sensor.
