Sony has finally announced the pricing of the new PlayStation 5 for the Indian market. The console is priced lower than its competition Xbox, from Microsoft. The company has also announced the pricing for the new PS5 accessories and new games for the console.
The Sony Playstation 5 Standard Edition is priced at Rs. 49,990 and the Digital Edition is priced at Rs. 39,990. The Digital Edition is priced lower than the Standard Edition as the latter comes with a 4K UHD Blu-ray disc drive. Except for the drive, both editions are identical in every way.
The new Dual Sense Wireless Controller is priced at INR 5,990 and the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset is priced at INR 8,590. If you want to get the new HD Camera you will have to shell out another INR 5,190. Finally, the Media Remote and DualSense Charging Station are priced at Rs. 2,590 each. In addition, Sony has also revealed the pricing for the launch day titles too. Sackboy A Big Adventure, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales are priced at Rs. 3,999 per title and Demon’s Souls, Destruction Allstars, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – Ultimate Edition will be sold for Rs. 4,999.
In comparison, the Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S are priced at Rs. 49,990 and Rs. 34,990 respectively. The Series X which is priced higher than Series S, gains faster processor, more storage and an optical drive. As of now, Play Station 5does not have a launching date for the Indian market and we hope to hear about it in the coming days. But the Cbox Consoles will go on sale from November 10.
