The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially announced the latest Sony PlayStation Portal and the same is essentially a Remote Play machine and this particular device was previously said as Project Q. The device is already confirmed to come with Wi-Fi to stream games from your PS5 console.
That means you need to have PlayStation 5 to play games using the newly announced Sony PlayStation Portal. The device is missing Bluetooth connectivity. The device features a 3.5mm audio jack and it is also coming with dual inbuilt speakers. It also supports PlayStation Link connectivity standard.
The latest Sony PlayStation Portal features an 8-inch LCD display and you can stream games at 1080p 60 FPS. It is also having a USB-C port for charging but we don’t have any information about the battery of the device at the moment.
Sony has confirmed that the device will have a price tag of US$199 but the company is yet to confirm the availability details.
