Mark Cerny, the company’s system architect of the upcoming PlayStation 5 has announced that the gaming console will be powered by AMD’s third-generation Ryzen CPU along with a custom Radeon Navi GPU for the graphical task. It will also come with the octa-core Zen 2 CPU with each core running at 3.5 GHz and the GPU will offer 10.28 TFLOPs, running 36 CUs at 2.23 GHz.
The upcoming PlayStation 5 will be matted with 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM along with an 856 GB of SSD and that can will offer 5 GB/s, and the same will allow expanding the SSD. Well, Sony already confirmed that the upcoming gaming console will be the company’s first console to feature a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray drive.
