Sony has announced the new headphones dubbed the Sony WH-1000X The ColleXion and celebrates 10 years of the 1000X series. The device comes with the new V3 processor. The device also comes with premium materials as well.
The newly introduced device comes with several design setups from the regular MDR-1000X from 2016, and the latest device also comes with synthetic leather around the ear cup housing, larger ear pads, a wider headband, and stainless steel accents.
Sony has introduced the ear cushions with deeper and slightly wider manner and the overall structure looks more substantial. The foldable hinge design is similar to the XM5 and XM6 headphones of the company.
The device features 30mm drivers along with a thicker copper substrate on the circuit board. The company also brings the new 360 Upmix modes and DSEE Ultimate AI upscaling. The device has the power of Sony’s QN3 processor along with a newer V3 chip and a 12-microphone setup for adaptive ANC. It has up to 24 hours of battery life with ANC enabled and 32 hours without the active noise cancellation.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a price tag of $649, and there is no information about the availability of the device in India.
