The Japanese electronics giant Sony is reportedly launching the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones and the same have leaked today with full details. The company is believed to launch the device between May 14 and 16, 2025.
It is worth mentioning that the upcoming Sony WH-1000XM6 is listed on the Amazon Spain website with the new QN3 noise cancellation processor along with a total of 12 microphones for real-time adaptive noise cancelling, and it can be adjusted according to your surrounding sound. The device also supports Adaptive NC Optimizer, which fine-tunes noise reduction automatically.
The device also supports wireless Hi-Res Audio via LDAC and the device comes with Edge-AI-powered DSEE Extreme to restore compressed audio files in real time. The device features a frequency range of 4 Hz to 40,000 Hz, using optimized carbon fiber dome speakers. The device is also supporting SBC, AAC, LDAC, and LC3.
It comes with a six-microphone beamforming system with AI-based wind noise reduction. The device also supports touch controls, wear detection, smart ambient sound mode, and a talk mode that allows conversations without removing the headphones.
The device will be offering up to 30 hours of battery life and it will be supporting fast charging. You can be able to charge the device via USB Type-C and also support wired audio through a 3.5mm jack. The device also supports Bluetooth 5.3, multipoint connectivity, and can be customized through the Sony Sound Connect app.
It also comes with an adjustable, asymmetrical headband with padded ear cushions. The device is foldable for easier storage and it will be available in Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue colour options. The package of the device will include the headphones along with a carrying case, a USB-C charging cable, and a 1.2-meter 3.5mm audio cable.
