Going through the newly leaked image of the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 V, we can see that the device is missing the ToF camera and the RGB IR sensor, which were available on the previous generation. Now the device is offering a slightly protruding camera module on the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 V smartphone. The device is featuring a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The device is also coming with a microphone on the back along with ZEISS branding in the camera module.
The third lens of the Sony Xperia 1 V is a periscope zoom lens. On the right side of the camera module, there is an NFC logo and we can also see the logo of Sony as well on the back panel.
Based on the previous reports, the device is expected to feature LG Innotek’s “Optical Telephoto Zoom Module,” which may offer up to 9x zoom and the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 V will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor.
There is no information about the launching timeline of the device but we believe that the company may launch the device during the upcoming MWC 2023 event which is scheduled to start by the end of this month.
