The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone called the Sony Xperia 1 V and the device is coming with a unique Exmor T for mobile stacked sensor along with a 4K OLED display and the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon flagship mobile processor. Both front and back sides of the device having the protection of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and the device features a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It is also coming with an IP65 and IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The new Sony Xperia V is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that can be expandable using a microSD card slot.
It is housing a 5,000mAh battery along with 30W wired charging and it is also supporting wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging. It is also coming with front-facing speakers that will feature a new amplifier to deliver a more dynamic and richer sound. It is running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features a 52MP primary camera along with an F/1.9 lens and a 1/1.35” sensor and the company calls it the Exmor T stacked sensor. The device is also having 85-125mm F/2.3-F/2.8 12MP telephoto camera with continuous zoom and a 12MP sensor supporting the 16mm ultrawide camera. It is also having AI algorithms and the same can boost performance in modes such as Night Portrait, Daylight Portrait, and Night View. The company is also offering S-Cinetone for mobile mode and this particular feature will enable you to capture videos using pre-set cinematic modes. It is also supporting real-time AF, real-time Eye-AF, burst shooting, and more. The device is also coming with a 1/2.9” 12MP front facing camera.
It is having a price tag of €1,399 in Europe and £1,299 in the UK and the device will be available from the late days of June.
