The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone dubbed the Sony Xperia 1 VI and the device comes with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. The newly announced Sony Xperia 1 VI comes with a minimalistic design. The device features a 6.5 inch display with 19.5:9 instead of the signature 21:9 cinema aspect ratio. The device also comes with FHD+ resolution and the device has an OLED panel along with HDR certification, full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut & X1 for mobile. The device also features a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 240Hz Motion blur reduction. The front and the back of the device are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Under the hood, the latest Sony Xperia 1 VI comes with the power of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage (512GB model will be available in Japan and East Asia). It will also enable you to expand the storage up to 1.5TB via microSD card. The device also features a vapor chamber cooling system.
The new Sony Xperia 1 VI smartphone features full-stage front stereo speakers along with a 3.5mm jack and the device also supports 360 Reality Audio, 360 Reality Audio hardware decoding, 360 Spatial Sound, Dolby Atmos, LDAC, DSEE Ultimate, Qualcomm aptX HD audio and LE Audio. It houses a large 5,000mAh battery along with 30W USB PD fast charging as well as Qi Wireless charging.

The pricing of the latest Sony Xperia 1 VI starts at €1,399/£1,299 and the device will be available from early June which means next month.
