The Japanese electronics giant Sony doesn’t have a good time in the smartphone industry, and, recently we updated that the company is all set to merge its Sony Mobile with the Electronics Products and Solutions. Well, today the company has launched a new compact smartphone and it is called Sony Xperia Ace, the device is currently limited in its homeland only.
Specifications of Sony Xperia Ace
The device was 5 inch full HD+ Triluminos display with 2160 X 1080 pixels resolution along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 630 processor along with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in 64GB of onboard storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.
It features a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 1.25-micron pixel size, Exmor R sensor, along with an 8-megapixel front camera with 120-degree field-of-view. For security, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the right side. It runs Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box and ships on a 2,700 mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, USB Type-C port, GPS, and GLONASS. Talking about pricing, the smartphone is priced at JPY 48,600.
