At MWC in February this year, the Japanese electronics giant Sony has unveiled a new device Sony Xperia XZ2. And with that device, the company changed the designing concept on its smartphones. As the company bought the modern design and style on the device, now the company has announced yet another flagship smartphone called Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Well, the new device is an improved variant of the Xperia XZ2. So, let’s check out what’s new in the newly announced smartphone.
It sports 5.8 inch 4K HDR TRILUMINOUS display, with Gorilla Glass 5, along with X-Reality for Mobile and Dynamic Vibration System, and having 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Octa Core processor and paired with 6 GB RAM, along with Adreno 630 for the graphical task. It has 64 GB internal storage, and can be expandable upto 400 GB via microSD card.
Moving to the camera department, it has 19 megapixel rear camera with Motion Eye Camera, 1/ 2.3” Exmor RS™ for mobile memory-stacked sensor, AUBE fusion image signal processor, BIONZ mobile image-processing engine, Predictive Capture, Predictive Hybrid Auto-focus, SteadyShot, 4K HDR Movie Recording, 960 FPS Super Slow-Mo Recording in HD and Full-HD resolution, Monochrome Effect, Bokeh Effect, and LED flash. It also has 13 megapixel front facing camera with 1/ 3.06” Exmor RS™ for mobile sensor with 22 mm wide-angle, f/2.0 aperture, and SteadyShot, and Flash.
In terms of connectivity, the device will have single/Dual SIM depends on the markets, it also supports 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C Gen 3.1. The device also supports the fingerprint scanner, and it also has stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, DSEE HX, LDAC, aptX HD, Clear Audio+, Stereo Speaker with S-Force Front Surround. The device also has IP65/68 Dust and Water Resistance. It runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 and backed on 3,540 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi Wireless Charging.
Speaking about the colour choices, the smartphone will be available in Chrome Black, and Chrome Silver. Pricing of the device hasn’t announced yet, and the device will be available from Summer.
