It seems that Instagram now wants to follow the steps of Google, as the search engine giant announced the Dashboard. And the popular social media network Instagram testing a feature which will allow the users to check their usage time.
A Twitter user Jane Manchun Wong discovered code in the Instagram app and it reveals that the developers of the Instagram are testing a feature called ‘Usage Insights‘ which will show how much time you a user spend in the Instagram app. The user also says, the ‘Usage Insights’ option will appear when a user taps on the hamburger menu at the top-left corner.

Having said that, the CEO of Instagram- Kevin Systrom confirms that they are developing such kind of feature but didn’t say a word about the availability of the feature. Anyways this is really a good by the company as it will definitely going to help the users of Instagram to tackle with their addiction.

The company is testing few other features like a new emoji bar which will allow users to react to comments using different emoji’s. Moreover, the developers also testing a ‘@’ button in the comments will make it easier for users to tag friends in comments. In addition to this, the developers of the app also testing a new feature which will allow Android users to like or reply to a comment right from the notification panel without opening the app, just like we do with the WhatsApp notification.

Well, we already updated in last week that Instagram is also testing music stickers which will allow you to add music to the stories. However, there is no information about the availability of all these new features but we hope that it will not too far.
