Soon Wear OS Powered Smartwatches Can Able To Control Whirlpool Smart Appliances

Whirlpool, the well known home appliances makers made an announcement on the ongoing CES 2019 event, and they said that they will add support for the Wear OS powered smart watches into their smart appliances. Well, this will allow the users who have a Smartwatch with Wear OS installed can able to control Whirlpool smart appliances.

The home appliance maker said that once the integration is done with their smart appliances a user who has Smartwatch with the power of Wear OS can able to control their smart stoves through the wearable and the user can also able to see the current oven status.

Similarly, the Wear OS user can able to control Whirlpool smart clothes washer and he or she cannot able to adjust the active cycle through the wearable. Having said that, the company has not announced when will the support will roll out. That said, Whirlpool home smart appliances already supported with the Google Assistant voice commands and if you have a Google Home smart speaker and a whirlpool smart appliances then you can control the product with the command word ‘Ok Google’.
