Recently, we witnessed for a dedicated camera smartphone and that is the Nokia 9 PureView which comes with five camera lens and that is dubbed as Penta-lens camera setup. Well, the trend is going to continue as the popular Chinese electronics brand Xiaomi has joined its hand with Light to develop imaging solution for smartphones.
Having said that, Light is an imaging technology company which involved in the development of the Penta-lens camera set up on the Nokia 9 PureView. With the partnership of Light and Xiaomi, the company will implement computational imaging technology in its upcoming Xiaomi’s smartphones and that will give multi-camera with DSLR level abilities.
The company hasn’t mentioned the specific timeline of the device and further details at this point of time.
