Passwords are an important factor in our digital life as the same enable us to login safely to our computer or mobile and other internet-related services. But now the scenario is going to be changed very soon as the big guns – Apple, Google, and Microsoft are working together to make a new solution where we can able to login without a password on different devices and browsers.
It is officially confirmed that Apple, Google, and Microsoft are working together to bring a new service that will enable us to login to desktop, mobile, and browser without entering passwords. That means you can be able to login to all platforms without including Android, iOS, Windows, ChromeOS, Chrome Browser, Edge, Safari, macOS, etc.
How will the new feature work?
The new feature will enable you to select a primary device for applications along with websites and other services. Then you need to unlock the primary device with a password, fingerprint scanner, or PIN and the same will enable you to login to other services without entering the password every time. That means a passkey, the cryptographic token, will be shared between the device and the website.
Let’s wait for the new password less feature and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for more interesting information from the technological world at your fingertips.
