Well, setting up things to send SMS from the desktop is not a new thing, as we have lots of applications out there to do this activity. But all those applications are developed by third-party and when we think about privacy then third-party applications are not that good. If you are a person who is concerned about your privacy, then a good news is coming for you. As the Mountain View company finally making things ready to send SMS via Android Messages from the desktop.
According to the source, Google bringing the desktop client for the Android Messages which means now you can set the method to send SMS via desktop without any third-party application. The Source also says the way how you can able to send SMS via your PC, first you need to create a QR code at messages.android.com (you will not see anything on this page). Then you need to scan the QR code with the Android Messages app (something similar to the WhatsApp web), which will link your phone and your desktop. Well, this is not the first time we are hearing about this desktop client service. Back in February, we came across a report which also said that the developers of Android Messages are working on this service.
Once the linking process completed, then need to link your Google account to your Android Messages. That’s all, you can send SMS from your desktop via the web browser and it will support all the major browsers. There is no information about the availability of this service, but I hope that the company will launch this in next month at the Google I/O event.
