The journey of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 to home kicks off today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with the hatch closure scheduled at 8:45 am IST. At that time, the astronauts entered into the Dragon spacecraft, and the hatch separating them from the ISS will be sealed.
It was successfully undocked from the space-facing port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module at 10:35 AM IST on Tuesday, March 18. The journey will take 17 hours to make a re-entry on Earth and the Dragon’s scheduled splashdown at 3:27 AM IST off the Florida coast.
