Just a couple of hours ago Redmi confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Redmi K40 series after a long wait and now we got more information about the devices in the latest leak. According to the latest information, the upcoming Redmi K40 Pro smartphone will be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile chipset and the vanilla variant will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor which is actually the successor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the MediaTek variant of the upcoming smartphone series but it is expected that the company may launch a Lite variant and the same will be powered by the Dimensity 1200.
Speaking about the Pro and vanilla variant, both the devices will have 6.81-inch AMOLED screens. The company has already officially confirmed that the upcoming smartphones will have E4 luminous material and the same is used on the Mi 11. The upcoming devices will arrive with 120 Hz and HDR10+.
The Redmi K40 Pro will have up to 12 GB of RAM and the Pro variant will be arriving with a large battery.
