We all know that OnePlus 3/3T was one of the best value for money flagship of 2016. Till now there’s no phone at that price that can compete with OnePlus 3/3T. Seems like the only phone which can compete with it will be the successor of this phone itself, that’s OnePlus 5. Why not OnePlus 4 ? Because number 4 is unlucky in China, so OnePlus may directly jump to OnePlus 5 as they launched the 4th flagship OnePlus 3T in December. So OnePlus 5 will be the 5th Flagship of OnePlus (OnePlus X is not a flagship). So today we have the same thing for you, or same leak. We got some leaked specs of the upcoming OnePlus 5. So what are those specs? Let’s find out.
First of all let me tell you that these leaks are not that reliable so take these specs with a pinch of salt. Now coming back to the leaks, this OnePlus 5 may have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa core processor clocked at 2.45Ghz with Adreno 540 GPU. This processor will be even more power efficient compared Snapdragon 820/821 as this one is built on 10nm FinFET manufacturing process. This phone may also have 23MP Rear Camera & 16MP front camera. It will have 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB/256GB internal storage. There would be a curved edge Display just like Galaxy S7 Edge. This time the back might be made up of Ceramic just like the Mi Mix. It will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Oxygen OS 5 on top.
So that’s all the information we have. These specs are very much similar to the rumours of which we got earlier (here). OnePlus 5 will most probably launch in May or June. So many leaks from more reliable sources like GFXBench will come in coming months. Stay tuned with us for more information.
