The developers of the streaming platform has added lossless audio streaming. Having said that, this particular feature is available only to Premium subscribers in selected markets.
With Lossless audio streaming feature, you can able to enjoy music in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, along with greater detail across nearly every song available on Spotify. The company is offering custom settings for WiFi, cellular, and downloads. This will enable you to choose between Low, Normal, High, Very high, and the newly added Lossless music quality.
The latest Lossless is available on mobile, desktop, and tablets, as well as on many devices that support Spotify Connect. Now let’s check out the steps to enable the new feature.
How to enable Lossless on Spotify?
Update the application and hit on your profile icon in the top left of the Spotify app
Now you need to go to Settings & Privacy
After that, simply go to Media Quality
Now choose where to enable lossless audio: WiFi, cellular, or downloads
You have to enable Lossless manually on each device.
The feature is currently available in Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the US, and the UK.
