A couple of months ago, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced the Swarail app and it is a new all-in-one railway app developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). It is actually one stop destination for all services and the application can be used for train ticket booking, checking PNR status, live train tracking, and many more.
Now the latest Swarail app is available for download and the same will be available on both Android and iOS. You guys can be able to log in using your current IRCTC Rail Connect accounts or create a new one. The application will enable you to access various services in one place and Indian Railway has eliminated the demand for multiple applications. The application will enable you to book tickets, reserved ticket bookings, unreserved ticket and platform ticket bookings, parcel and freight enquiries, train and PNR status enquiries, food orders on trains, and Rail Madad for complaint management.
