It was recently reported that Tata Group will purchase Wistron’s iPhone manufacturing factory in India and now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the deal is in its final stage and Tata will complete the procedure very soon. It is also said that the deal is worth over Rs 5,000 crores.
The report is suggesting that the deal will be completed before the end of this month which means April. The factory is located in Karnataka and the factory is currently manufacturing the latest iPhone 14 and iPhone 12 models.
After completing the deal, Tata Group is planning to start assembling of the next generation iPhone 15 later this year. This will make India as an important manufacturing destination of Apple products.
