Everything about the TCL 50 series
The latest TCL 50 series comes with the TCL’s NXTPAPER display technology and the same is available in the devices such as the TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G and the TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G. The company also says that it is bringing the benefits of e-ink displays.
The TCL 50 XL 5G and 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G features 6.8-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek 23E+ chipset and they feature a 50MP main camera in their triple-lens setup.
While the TCL 50 XE 5G and TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G also come with a 6.6-inch display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. The devices come with the MediaTek 6835 23E+ chipset. They also feature a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 5MP ultrawide lens.
The smartphone series also includes 12GB of RAM and powerful dual speakers. The TCL 50 LE offers a slightly smaller display, less RAM, and a smaller battery.
The new TCL 50 LE 5G has a price tag of around $100. The TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G will be priced under $229, while the non-NXTPAPER TCL 50 XL 5G will remain under $169. The company will be offering the TCL 50 XE 5G for $149, and the NXTPAPER version will be priced under $199. The devices will be available later this year.
