OnePlus 11 Concept to feature special exterior design
The device will be announced during the upcoming MWC 2023 event which will start next week and the company has teased the device with the blue pipelines on the back. The device is also going to feature a carbon fiber exterior and the same will offer increased durability without increasing the overall weight. The device may also feature a quad curve display, and the camera bump on the OnePlus 11 Concept appears to be quite prominent.
India to have a unique Android experience
It is reported that the Android smartphones in India will be getting a different version of Google Mobile Services (GMS) and the same will be coming with optional Google apps. The new Indian Mobile Application Distribution Agreement (IMADA) between OEMs and Google will only require the installation of the Google Play Store. It is also said that the search engine giant Google will offer a “per-app bounty” to smartphone makers who pre-install any of its 11 apps which are now not mandatory to be available on the devices. It is also said that customers can select the default search engine during the setup process of the device. This option is said to be available in the second quarter of this year.
Netflix has reduced the pricing of its packages
It is confirmed that the subscription price of Netflix has been reduced in several parts of the world that includes the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Moreover, Netflix has also introduced a cheaper ad-supported plan in 12 countries around the globe.
South Korea to have 6G in 2028
It is said that South Korea is working on the next generation 6G connectivity and the same will be available in 2028. It is planning to implement the connectivity 2 years ahead of schedule. The advanced plan also targetting to encourage local companies to produce materials and equipment for 6G technology in the country.
Poco C55 unveiled
The Poco C55 smartphone features a 6.71-inch LCD display along with a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. POCO C55 features a 5-megapixel front camera while the back panel of the device is having a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, along with a depth sensor and an LED flash. The device is running on Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box.
The new Poco C55 is powered by the Helio G85 chipset along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM, up to 5 GB of virtual RAM, and 64 GB / 128 GB of storage. The device with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB model costs Rs 9,499 while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version costs Rs 10,999. The device will be available in the country from February 28.
