Redmi has introduced the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China and the device features a 6.67-inch display with a 12-bit flexible OLED panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The latest Redmi Note 12 Turbo features a 64MP main lens with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is also having a 16MP front-facing selfie camera.
It is the world’s first smartphone to arrive with the power of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is housing a 5,000mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and it is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
Redmi Note 12 4G launched in India
The Redmi Note 12 4G smartphone is official in the country and the device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is having the power of the Snapdragon 685 mobile processor along with 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
The device features a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. It is also coming with a 13MP front facing camera. It is housing a 5,000mAh battery along with 33W fast wired charging.
The 6GB + 64GB model of the device is having a price tag of ₹14,999 and the 6GB + 128GB model is coming with a price tag of ₹16,999. The device will be available from April 6 in the country.
WWDC 2023 event date announced
Apple has officially announced the date for its upcoming highly anticipated event dubbed the WWDC 2023. Apple will be hosting the event on June 5 this year and the event will be focused on the new version of operating systems for its various products and the same will include iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.
Redmi 12C is now official in India
The Redmi 12C is the latest entry level smartphone in the country and the same features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display. It is running on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. The device is coming with the power of the MediaTek Helio G85 mobile processor along with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 5 GB of virtual RAM. The device is also coming with up to 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expandable using a microSD card.
The latest Redmi 12C offers features face unlock as well as a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The device features a 5-megapixel camera on the front while the back panel of the device is having a 50-megapixel main camera along with a depth sensor and an LED flash. The Redmi 12C is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi 12C with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage is having a price tag of Rs 8,999 and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is coming with a price tag of Rs 10,999. The device will be available from April 6.
UPI merchant transactions to be charged
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has confirmed that all merchant transactions made above Rs 2,000 via Unified Payments Interface (UPI) will be charged and the new rule will be implemented from April 1. It is confirmed that all merchant transactions above Rs 2,000 will be charged 1.1 per cent and the charge will be dubbed as the interchange rate. It is worth mentioning that the new rule is not applicable to individual payments and payments between individuals and merchants.
