Government of India imposed a ban on imported gadgets
The Government of India has released a fresh notification and the same is restricting on the import of laptops, computers, and tablets. It is also confirmed that imports of such equipment will now require a valid license. The new rule is applicable for the products which come under the HSN 8741 category.
Redmi 12 series launched in India
Redmi 12 series includes 4G and 5G models and both of them are coming with identical design and specifications. The chipset and the connectivity departments are making significant changes. The latest Redmi 12 features a 6.79-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The 4G model of the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 mobile processor paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of eMMC storage. While the 5G version is coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip along with up to 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage and the device is coming with up to 8GB of RAM on the board.
The devices are coming with a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP macro sensor. The device is also coming with an 8MP selfie camera. The 4G model and it is also coming with an additional 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the back. The device is also supporting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging and the device is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
In terms of pricing and availability, the latest Redmi 12 4G model is having a starting price of ₹9,999 while the starting price of the 5G model is ₹11,999.
Infinix GT 10 Pro goes official
The Infinix GT 10 Pro sports a 6.67-inch 10-bit FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Infinix GT 10 Pro smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 mobile processor along with up to 8GB of RAM as well as expandable virtually up to 16GB and 256GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 1TB with a MicroSD card.
Infinix GT 10 Pro smartphone features a 108MP primary camera along with a 2MP sensor and a 2MP shooter. The device features a 32MP selfie camera with dual flash. The device is housing a massive 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging technology. It is also coming with LED lights on the back panel.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Infinix GT 10 Pro is having a price tag of Rs 19999 in India.

Nothing has expanded its business by announcing a new sub brand and the same will be dealing with affordable products. The company has also confirmed that the brand will be launching smartwatch and earphones latter this year.
Jio launches its JioBook in India
The JioBook laptop is coming with the inbuilt 4G LTE support and it is embedded with Jio SIM. The device features an 11.6-inch display with an HD resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset along with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256 GB. The device is running on JioOS.
Regarding the pricing, JioBook is priced at Rs. 16,499 and you can purchase the device from August 5 through Amazon and the official website of the brand.
