OnePlus Open unveiled
The latest OnePlus Open is the first ever foldable phone of the brand and the same features a 6.3-inch external screen and a 7.82-inch internal screen. Both displays feature an LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the device features 2,800 nits peak brightness. It also comes with three speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and the device also features the signature alert slider button as well.

The OnePlus Open features Hasselblad-branded triple rear cameras that includes a 1/1.43-inch 48MP main Sony LYTIA-T808 pixel stacked sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a third 64MP periscope telephoto unit with 6x optical zoom. The external and internal screens have a 20MP and 32MP camera sensor respectively.
The device comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device comes with a large 4,800mAh battery along with 67W fast charging technology and it is running on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 out of the box. Xiaomi confirms to replace MIUI
It is officially confirmed that the company is replacing the MIUI after 13 years and the new operating system will be called the HyperOS. It is the custom skin of the company and the same will be based on Android 14 just like any other skins out in the market. Xiaomi has confirmed that the upcoming custom skin will be dubbed the HyperOS. The company has also confirmed that the new OS will be available throughout 2024 on compatible devices. It is also confirmed that the new operating system will be announced alongside the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series.

We also across some leaked screenshots of the upcoming operating system of the company and the same confirmed that the HyperOS will offer more customization options for the lock screen and the same will also enable you to choose from new types of templates, clocks, fonts, and widgets. It will also come with more detailed wallpaper customization options as well. The company will be offering the control center in a more streamlined manner.
WhatsApp now supports multiple accounts

The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp implemented a new feature that will enable you to use two WhatsApp accounts on the same device. You can able to switch between the accounts and the notifications as well as messages will be separated into each account.
X will charge new users
Elon Musk has officially confirmed that the platform will be charging money and says that this is the only way to stop bots from the platform. The new setup is called “Not A Bot” and the same is currently being tested in two countries only.

The platform will be asking for money from web users at the moment and the testing is happening in New Zealand and Philippines. The platform will be accessible to users even without making the payment but they will be limited to viewing posts only and if you want to post, watch videos, and follow accounts then you need to make a payment of $1 per year.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launch date confirmed
It is officially confirmed that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship mobile processor will be announced on October 25 and the event will be live streamed as well. Qualcomm will be hosting its 8th edition of the Snapdragon Summit event which will continue for three days. Xiaomi 14 series is expected to be the first to come with the power of the new chipset.
