OnePlus Unveils new update series for OxygenOS
OnePlus has officially launched a new monthly update series for its custom skin called the OxygenOS and this update series will be available on both mobile phones and tablets of the company. The company is not offering the traditional over-the-air (OTA) update but the brand will be upgrading its own applications and the company will be adding new system features that will be enhancing the software experience.
It is also confirmed that the new update series will be available on the devices that has the firmware versions U120P01(BRB1EX01) and U120P01(BRB3EX01). The company has already started working on the update and it is phased deployment from August 2nd. The company is expected to bring the update to the users across Asia-Pacific regions including India, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as select Middle Eastern countries like UAE and Saudi Arabia, by September 6th this year.
OnePlus offers lifetime screen replacement program in India
The green screen issue is something common nowadays in the devices of every smartphone brands and the popular smartphone maker OnePlus is addressing the green line issue with the free screen upgrade offer. This particular problem comes in AMOLED screens and the new initiative is part of the Red Cable Club loyalty program. The company is actually offering a lifetime display warranty. The company is offering a comprehensive Free Screen Diagnostics and Service Initiative and the same features three tiers of service including Comprehensive Diagnostics, Screen Upgrades and Replacements as well as Deep Cleaning Service.
This Smartphone brand has joined its hands with suppliers to develop new screen technology. The new initiative will definitely give a piece of mind as the green screen issue will be fixed for free. It is worth mentioning that the service is currently available only in the market of India.
Asus ROG Ally X goes official
The latest Asus ROG Ally X is officially introduced in the market of India with a 7-inch IPS LCD panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, 16:9 aspect ratio, and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. It has the power of the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor along with 24GB of LPRRD5X RAM and 1TB of NVMe M.2 SSD storage. The device is housing a large 80Wh battery along with 65W charging via a USB Type C port.
The latest Asus ROG Ally X runs on Windows 11 out of the box and the gadget features a new dual fan system. The device also features a Thunderbolt 4 port with DisplayPort support, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a UHS-II microSD card reader, Wi-Fi 6E (triple-band), and Bluetooth 5.2.
It also comes with Hi-Res certified audio with AI noise cancellation and the latest Asus ROG Ally X has a redesigned ergonomic chassis along with deeper handgrips. It also comes with improved joysticks and D-pad along with repositioned controls, and the device also features a processor fingerprint sensor. You can purchase the ASUS ROG Ally X at Rs 89,990 and the device will be available through the official channels and the popular online stores in the country.
Huawei Nova Flip unveiled
The latest Huawei Nova Flip features a 6.94-inch OLED LTPO foldable screen with a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The Huawei Nova Flip also comes with a 2.15-inch OLED cover screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and it features the square-shaped cover screen also features a dual-camera setup. The device has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor and an f/1.9 aperture.
The device also features a side-facing fingerprint sensor and the Huawei Nova Flip runs on the Harmony OS 4.2 out of the box. The device is powered by the Kirin 8000 chipset along with 12 GB of RAM and storage options including 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. The device houses a 4,400mAh battery with 66W rapid charging support.
It has a price tag of 5,288 Yuan for the base model and the device is currently available in the market of China.
