OxygenOS 16 unveiled

OnePlus has officially introduced the latest OxygenOS 16 custom skin and it is based on the Android 16 operating system. The Plus Mind is the heart of the new OxygenOS 16, as it is a personal intelligence engine that will work for you to determine how your content is organized. The latest Plus Mind is actually a system that is aware with your content and context. If you capture an event poster, it can suggest adding it to your calendar. Long, scrolling screenshots are auto-saved, entire web pages can be clipped, and everything will be arranged in Mind Space.
The latest OxygenOS 16 is coming with a deeper integration of Google Gemini and the AI system of the company now works directly with your saved content in Mind Space for more personalized suggestions. The company is also offering various useful AI powered tools in the OxygenOS 16. It also comes with the Parallel Processing 2.0 system and the software update also bolsters cross-device compatibility, with support for seamless sharing with Windows and Mac and improved syncing with iPhones and Apple Watch for an improved cross device connection.

Apple M5 chipset launched

The latest Apple M5 processor features a new 10-core GPU along with a Neural Accelerator in each core. The latest processor will offer over four times the peak GPU compute performance compared to the previous generation. The GPU also features the third-generation ray tracing and improved shader cores and the same will result in up to 45 percent higher graphics performance than M4.

New Apple MacBook Pro launched

It comes with the power of the new Apple M5 processor and the same delivers 20% better CPU performance and up to 3.5x faster AI processing. The device is said to improve the graphics with 1.6x faster rendering and memory bandwidth. It can now push past 150GB/s. The device is said to offer up to 24 hours of battery life.
The device features a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display along with 1,600 nits, a six-speaker setup with spatial audio, and a 12MP webcam with Center Stage. It also features Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, an SD card slot, a headphone jack, and MagSafe 3 for charging. The device runs on macOS Tahoe and the machine is loaded with “Apple Intelligence” features like live translation in Messages and FaceTime.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device comes with a starting price of $1,599 for the 16GB/512GB and it will be available from October 22.
Oppo Find X9 series launched

The Oppo Find X9 features a 6.59-inch Tianma OLED flat panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3600 nits local peak brightness. While the Oppo Find X9 Pro has a 6.78 inch screen with a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The devices run on the Android 16 operating system out of the box.
Oppo offers the Oppo Find X9 with a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using Sony’s LYT-600 sensor. The front camera uses a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. While the Oppo Find X9 Pro offers the periscope telephoto camera to a 200MP sensor and the front camera to 50MP. Both models support 4K video at up to 120fps, Hasselblad XPAN mode, and professional recording modes including log video, HDR, and master mode.
The new Oppo Find X9 has a 7025mAh battery while the Pro version uses a massive 7500mAh cell. Both use Oppo’s fourth-generation silicon-carbon negative electrode material. Apple introduces iPad Pro 2025

The device comes with two size variants – 11-inch and 13-inch models. The device comes with the power of the latest M5 processor along with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage options. It also features the in-house C1X modem and N1 wireless chip. With also supports the latest WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 standards. The device also comes with a 40W Dynamic Power Adapter.
Speaking about the camera department, the back of the device features a lone 12MP camera with LiDAR scanner and ProRes video recording support, while the front features a 12MP shooter with the Center Stage feature. The device also features a quad speaker setup and it is running on the new iPadOS 26 out of the box.
