India sets new rule for social media apps

The authorities in India have created a new set of rules for the social media applications including WhatsApp, Telegram, Arattai, Signal, and other chat apps. It is said that the applications need to check whether the account of the user is linked to an active SIM card.
If the SIM is removed, changed, or becomes inactive then the user will be logged out automatically. WhatsApp/Telegram Web or Desktop must log out every 6 hours and users need to scan that QR code again and again from their phone. This rule is set to catch online scams, fake calls, and digital arrest cases. It is also said that applications have around 90 days to start following these new rules, and 120 days to fully report back to the government.
India rolls back Sanchar Saathi pre-install order

Last week, the Government of India ordered to pre-install Sanchar Saathi application on all devices, and the government provided 90 days of time to meet the requirement. However, it is actually a big question over the privacy of each and every user and opposition of the country and every user made the backlash. This made the authorities decide to roll back the decision.

Samsung has officially introduced its first ever Tri-Fold phone dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold and the same comes with up to a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen along with a 120 Hz refresh rate. OnePlus Ace 6T launched

The OnePlus Ace 6T features a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and adaptive refresh rates up to 165Hz. The device has the power of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, and it is the world’s first phone to come with this particular processor. The device comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 9600 Mbps plus up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

The Relame P4x 5G comes with a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset along with up to 8GB of RAM, up to 10GB of virtual RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 and the company has promised to deliver 3 years of software and security updates. The phone houses a large 7,000mAh battery along with 45W fast charging and reverse charging. The device also comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens, along with an 8 megapixel front camera.
