Last week Apple hosted WWDC 2020 to unveil its refreshed lineup of software for the year. During the presentation which was recorded the company unveiled a slew of new OS upgrades and explained its features. The main attraction was iOS 14 which gained plenty of features. Apple added Widgets, Picture in Picture mode to name a few. The main highlight was their focus on user privacy and implementation of settings to help users know what data other apps or websites are collecting.

The next big thing was the macOS Big Sur which received a major overhaul to grow closer to iOS. Apple also informed that they are abandoning Intel Processors by 2022 and has kickstarted the development. In this way, Apple will take the ARM architecture designs and build company owned processors which are expected to be very powerful. Along with it the company also introduced WatchOS 7 with sleep tracking and safety features. The iPad OS also received more features from the latest version of iOS. 2. Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom and Buds Q Launched in India

Another major announcement came from Realme, which launched three new products in India, which were originally introduced elsewhere. The Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ and houses 64 MP main camera. The highlight of SuperZoom edition is its ability to achieve 5X optical zoom and 60x digital zoom which is unheard in this price range. The display is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is 4,200 mAh and the phones ship with 30W fast charger inside the box. The Realme X3 starts from Rs 24,999 for the 6/128 GB variant whereas the SuperZoom costs Rs 27,999 for the 8/128GB version. Along with the smartphones, Realme launched Realme Buds Q budget TWS Earphone for Rs 1,999. It features an in-ear design and comes in a pebble-shaped charging case.  The wearable offers 20 hours of music playback on a single charge. Realme has fit in 10mm drivers for superior audio quality. The device also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and it is also capable of the auto-pairing along with the IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. Last week, Google updated its Google Photos app with several design changes. Starting with the logo, it is flatter now, it is still the colorful pinwheel, but the same is more circle-y and totally flattened. With the new designing setup, the company has also removed one tab from the user interface of the application, and now you will get only three tabs and that will be Photos, Search, and Library. Talking about the Photos tab, it will showcase big thumbnails, and the same will also offer less space between photos, along with the auto-playing videos as well. It also features big “Memories” carousel and the app will allow hiding memories from certain people or time periods. Moving to the Search tab will allow you to find photos on the map and that can be a pinch to zoom and zoom out as well, it is one of the most requested features on this particular application. 4. OnePlus Teases Affordable TV and Midrange Phone

OnePlus is getting ready for a launch very soon. The company is bringing affordable OnePlus TV below Rs 20,000 mark. It is expected to launch in the first week of July. The teaser page for the TV has already landed on Amazon India and it says the OnePlus TV is available for pre-order. As of now, there is not much known about the TV but it is expected to be unveiled very soon. Along with the TV, OnePlus is getting ready to launch its new mid-range phone with code name OnePlus Nord. There have been several leaks about the new smartphone. It is expected to come with dual selfie cameras inside a dual-punch hole. 5. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus Tipped To Launch Soon

A new report suggests that Qualcomm will announce the upcoming chipset between Snapdragon 865 Plus in July and that will come with improved GPU than the current latest and greatest Snapdragon 865 processor. This SoC is expected to power the flagships that will release in the second half of 2020. These smartphones might include the upcoming OnePlus flagship and Samsung Flagships. Apart from this, we don’t have any other information about the upcoming processor but as the report suggests, it will launch in July which means we don’t need to wait much as just a couple of days away from the much-anticipated launch timeline.
