The popular smartphone maker TECNO has celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Future Lens event in China and the company announced new camera technology to enhance the photography experience. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
One of the biggest announcements is the Dual-Mirror Reflect Telephoto system and the same features an all-new coaxial optical design. It is actually 50% smaller than traditional telephoto modules and this will be easier to fit into slim devices without compromising the professional zoom performance. It is also capable to create a unique “doughnut-shaped” bokeh effect.
TECNO also introduced the Freeform Continuum Telephoto and the same will be offering true continuous optical zoom from 1x to 9x without any digital cropping. The company has also introduced the TECNO Image Matrix (TIM) architecture and the same blends AIGC-enhanced optics, advanced computational algorithms, and AI-assisted controls. It will be focusing on understanding the user’s intent, subject characteristics, and emotional tone. This system also supports TECNO’s Universal Tone system for more accurate skin-tone reproduction.
The company has also announced its fully automated imaging laboratory which is built with DXOMARK’s Camera V6 testing solutions. The lab will be focusing on real-world photography conditions and it will be targeting to set higher scientific standards for smartphone camera evaluation worldwide.
