Tecno has introduced its new Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G and Camon 30 Pro 5G smartphones at the MWC 2024 event in Barcelona. The devices are launched with a 144Hz refresh rate along with an AMOLED display. The device will be coming with the power of the Dimensity 8200 Ultra mobile processor and the devices will feature three 50MP cameras on the board. Both devices come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display along with a 144Hz refresh rate and it is worth mentioning that the Pro variant is missing LTPO. The Premier variant features a 1.5K resolution while the Pro model comes with a Full HD+ resolution.
The latest Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G and Camon 30 Pro 5G come with the power of the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. While the Camon 30 Pro 5G comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and the Premier variant comes with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G features up to 12 GB of virtual RAM.
Both devices come with a massive 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging technology and both devices run on Android 14 with HiOS 14 out of the box. Both devices support an IR blaster, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G and Camon 30 Pro 5G feature a 50-megapixel camera with autofocus and a dual LED flash on the front. The devices come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Pro variant has a 2-megapixel depth sensor as the third camera on the back, while the Premier edition offers a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length and up to 60x hybrid zoom support.
The Premier variant also supports Tecno’s PolarAce Imaging System, a dedicated ISP, that offers features like AI noise reduction for HDR videos, 4K Ultra Night Vision videos, and rendering accurate skin tones.
