OnePlus will launch its new flagship smartphone called the OnePlus 10T on August 3 in the market of China and we already have the complete specification details of the smartphone. The company has officially confirmed the camera details of the smartphone recently and it is also revealed that the coming OnePlus 10T will not feature the signature alert slider button. Now the company has explained the reason behind the removal of the alert slider button from the upcoming flagship smartphone. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out the details.
According to OnePlus chief designer Hope Liu, the alert slider butter has removed from the upcoming smartphone because the device is not having enough internal space for other components. The company required space for “high wattage charging, a large battery capacity, and better antenna signal”.
The fast charging solution of the upcoming OnePlus 10T smartphone requires two charging pumps and the same is also coming with a new 15-antenna set up.
The company also says that the alert slider button looks small but it takes up 30 square mm of motherboard area. The new thinking confirms that the company thinks users gives importance for the fast charging solution.
But in my opinion, the alert slider button was the most important factor and people may ready to sacrifice the fast charging solution in favour of the alert slider button. The upcoming device is coming with 150W fast charging solution and to offer the high charging solution the company has removed the alert slider button. It would be awesome if the company offers less charging power with the alert slider button on the board.
