Threads app is a competitor of the very popular micro-blogging platform Twitter and the application is also coming with a similar user interface and now the developers of the social media application have implemented a new feature that is available on Twitter as well.
The application is getting rate limits and that is to tackle spam attacks, and this particular setup was initially tested on Twitter then the same was eased for Twitter Blue subscribers. It is worth mentioning that the Threads application has not specified the duration of its rate limits yet.
Separately, the Threads application received a new update which is bringing many new features to the board. The update is meant for the iOS platform. The update is bringing Follows tab and the same is now integrated into the activity feed.
This particular feature will enable you to easily see who has recently followed you, and the update is also bringing translations for post text, and encouraging users to connect with others who speak different languages. The application is also getting the ability to subscribe to unfollowed users and this particular feature will offer the capability to receive notifications without cluttering the timeline.
Apart from this, there are small changes including reposter labels can be tapped, resulting in a leaner and smoother user experience. It is worth mentioning that some features might not be available immediately as they will be activated by server side.
