Three Samsung Devices Will Not Get Security Updates

Back in last year at the Google Developer Conference, the company asked the smartphone brands to provide regular security updates. But now the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has released a list of devices that will no longer receive the security updates which means the devices are not in the safe zone.

Samsung has dropped the Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A3 (2016), and the Galaxy Tab S2 L/S Refresh from the list. The company said that the Galaxy Tab A which was unveiled in 2017 will get quarterly updates to the ‘other’ category that means it will get updates, but there’s no schedule.

Having said that, the company has promised to push monthly updates to the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy A50, and Galaxy Xcover 4s.
