Truecaller the very popular caller identification application which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. The application helps to eliminate spam calls and now the application is getting a new feature called AI powered call recording feature. The feature is available for premium subscribers.
Android users can able to start the call recording function directly from within the Truecaller app and if you are using a different dialer, then Truecaller offers a floating recording button for accessibility.
While iOS users can able to dial a specific recording line via the Truecaller application and the same will be available for both incoming and outgoing calls. It will also feature a beep sound and the same will notify the other party that the call is being recorded.
It is worth mentioning that the feature was first introduced in 2018 on Android but last year, Google limited access to its Accessibility API, a tool Truecaller and other apps used for call recording, now Truecaller is using Large Language Model (LLM) technology and the platform will soon introduce a feature that will offer transcripts of recorded calls.
