- Threads app received an amazing response.
Instagram released the new Threads social media application yesterday and the same received an amazing response by the users as it received millions of downloads in 48 hours. Now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that Twitter is taking legal action on the new application.
It is accused that Meta is doing “unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and intellectual property”. The letter reveals that Meta intentionally hired dozens of former Twitter employees who had access to the company’s confidential information. It is also said that Meta used this to their advantage in developing the Threads app.
The letter is also saying that the newly announced Threads is the Twitter ‘copy-cat app’. Leveraging trade secrets and intellectual property are deemed as violation of state and federal laws.
In reply to this, it is said that there is no person on the engineering team of the latest Threads application. We need to wait and see how things will turn around, anyways it is confirmed that the tech world is going to witness a massive war between the two companies.
