Google is currently depending on the South Korean electronics giant Samsung for its processor and now we got a new piece of information that the company is finally changing the strategy and it will be bringing its next generation processor built with TSMC. It is reported that the company has locked a long term deal for the Tensor processors for future Pixel phones.
It is reported that the deal will be lasting from three to five years. In that case, TSMC will be manufacturing the Google Tensor chips from the upcoming Pixel 10 to the Pixel 14.
This strategy will be a massive change for Google and it will offer a big boost in the performance of the Google devices and the company will be able to attract more users as well. So let’s wait for the first Google smartphone with the power of the processor in collaboration with TSMC.
