So we are in the second month of 2018 and already started getting leaks of many smartphone launches of a first and second quarter of the year. We got leaks of devices from Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, LG, etc. If we talk about flagship phones, one brand is missing here i.e. HTC. Till now we haven’t seen any leaks of 2018 HTC flagship. But today, we got one. So let’s have a look at the same.
HTC U12
Upcoming HTC U12 smartphone is spotted at the Taiwan 5G industry event. The pictures are very clear and without any doubt, it looks like next HTC flagship, because we haven’t seen any HTC phone with this much less bezels. As you can see from the images, you will notice that side bezels are more shrunken and top as well as bottom bezels are still thicker. It has the latest 18:9 display that probably has a size of 6 inches. If you notice at the display, you will notice that the LTE speed result is 809.58 Mbps download speed which clearly mentions that it has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor because Snapdragon 845 has Qualcomm X20 LTE modem.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Other rumoured/obvious specs of HTC U12 are 6 inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display, 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, stereo speakers, Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, bigger battery than predecessor, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
