The new iPhone 15 Series is just one month older, but we already started to hear about the next generation iPhone 16 series and today it is reported that the company might launch the new iPhone 16 Pro with a significant design change on the display. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
According to tipster Majin Bu, the Cupertino based company is currently testing a prototype of the next generation iPhone 16 Pro with a hole-punch cutout on the top of the screen which means the company might retire the the Dynamic Island. That was introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro series.
Apple is testing a iPhone 16 Pro hole punch version, but it may not be finalized. Details will depend on March next year. I guess most likely we won't see such a version until the iPhone 17 pic.twitter.com/exeo8gWoT0

If the information is correct then it would be a significant change, as it would eliminate the need for the pill-shaped cutout that has been a hallmark of recent iPhones.
We don’t have any official confirmation so we recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt.
