The South Korean electronics giant Samsung will be launching its new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices on July 10 along with multiple new devices including new watch series and more. Today the complete specifications of the upcoming folding devices of the company appear online. According to the latest information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be coming with a 3.4-inch cover screen and a 6.7-inch main foldable display which is similar to the previous generation. The primary display of the device will feature Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz variable refresh rate while the cover screen has 720 x 748 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be housing a 4,000mAh battery and it is reported to come with a vapor chamber cooling system. The device will feature a 50MP primary sensor along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a 10MP selfie camera.
While the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is reported to come with a 6.3-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch main foldable display. Both displays offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. The device will be housing the same 4,400mAh battery as its predecessor.
It is reported to come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The device will be coming with the same dual front-facing cameras that will be in the combination of a 10MP sensor on the cover screen and a 4MP sensor on the main display.
Both the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are expected to feature an IP48 rating and the devices will come with Armor Aluminium frame and the display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The devices will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB and 512GB. The Fold 6 might also have a 1TB storage variant. The devices will be running on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 on top. The devices will also feature Galaxy AI on the board. Samsung will be launching the devices with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and dual-SIM support. The devices will support 5G (sub-6GHz), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port for connectivity.
