Finally, it’s official! We are hearing about the in-display fingerprint sensor smartphone from past one year. And now the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo made it official, the device is called Vivo X20 Plus UD. As I updated earlier, the device is not new but it is a variant of the original Vivo X20 Plus which was launched in September, last year.
To make the in-display fingerprint sensor smartphone, Vivo joined its hand with a US-based sensor maker called Synaptics. Moving to the specification details of the Vivo X20 Plus UD sports a 6.43-inch Super OLED display along with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and it having 2160 X 1140 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, and it is paired with 4 GB RAM. Speaking of the storage options, the device has 128 GB onboard storage and it can be expandable through the hybrid slot.
Moving to the photography department, the device has a dual rear camera with the combination of 12 megapixel sensor (f/1.8 lens) and 5 megapixel, along with a 12 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash. The device is coming with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 support along with 4G connectivity, and the whole device is backed on 3,905 mAh battery and the device is charged via USB-C connector. The device will be available in Black with Golden rims around the display and the dual-camera setup on the rear.

- It is priced at CNY3,598 (approx. ₹36,100).
- The device will be available in China from February 1 at 10:00.
