The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has unveiled its new Vivo S15 series in the market of China and the smartphone series includes the vanilla variant and Pro model. The devices have many similarities as they are running on the latest Android 12 out of the box. The devices are also featuring a triple rear camera setup along with fast charging solution. Specifications of Vivo S15 series
Vivo S15 features a 6.62 inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display along with a Full HD+ resolution while the Pro variant features a smaller 6.56 inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models feature a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and offers a curved display as well. It is also featuring HDR10+ support and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The devices are also coming with a dedicated independent display chip as well.
Under the hood, the Vivo S15 is powered by Snapdragon 870 Peak Edition SoC, while the S15 Pro is having a power of a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. Both the latest Vivo smartphones are coming with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.
The base model of the smartphone series houses a 4,500mAh battery along with 66W fast charging, while the Pro model also has a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Vivo S15 series is running on the latest Android 12 based OriginOS Ocean out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo S15 features a triple camera setup on the back panel that includes a 64 megapixel primary sensor along with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it is featuring a 32 megapixel camera sensor. On the other hand, the Pro variant features a 50 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel along with a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel B&W sensor. It is also featuring a 32 megapixel front facing camera. The smartphone series also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone series supports dual nano SIM slots, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 on the S15 and Bluetooth 5.3 on the S15 Pro, GPS on the S15 and dual band GPS on the S15 Pro, X axis linear motor, NFC, and USB Type C port.
