The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially introduced the new Vivo S17 series in the market of China and the smartphone series includes the Vivo S17, the Vivo S17t, and the Vivo S17 Pro. The latest Vivo S17 smartphone features a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display along with an FHD+ resolution, an 800000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit colours, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 778G Plus mobile processor along with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB (UFS 2.2) / 512 GB (UFS 3.1) storage. The device is coming with a 4,505mAh battery along with 80W charging. It is also supporting an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo S17 features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 selfie camera with dual soft-LED flash units, while the back panel of the device is having an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a ring-LED flash.
Talking about the Vivo S17t, the device features the new Dimensity 8050 mobile processor at its heart and the rest of its specifications are identical to the Vivo S17. The devices are also supporting dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port for connectivity.
The devices are coming with a new technology called particle ink on the back panel and the same will work by using invisible magnetic force to arrange 15 million magnetic particles on the back panel.
The starting price of the Vivo S17 is set at 2,499 Yuan and the same will be available in China from June 6. Having said that, the company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of the Vivo S17t.
