Everything about Vivo S18 series
The vanilla variant and the Pro variant feature a feather-like pattern on the rear panel with a plastic middle frame. The devices feature a 6.78-inch curved OLED display along with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2800 nits of peak brightness. The devices also come with a punch hole cutout at the centre position of the screen. The Vivo S18e features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 1800 nits. It also comes with a punch-hole on the top of the screen.
Under the hood, the latest Vivo S18 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor while the Vivo S18 Pro features the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The devices come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is worth noting that the Pro features LPDDR5X RAM and the vanilla version comes with LPDDR4X memory. The Vivo S18e comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor along with LPDDR4X 12GB RAM and UFS 2.2 memory options including 256GB and 512GB. The devices run on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 custom skin out of the box.
The vanilla variant and the Pro variant also feature up to 16GB of virtual RAM expansion as well as 50GB of storage compression. Both devices house a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 80W fast charging. The devices will get free 4 years of battery replacement as well. The Vivo S18e houses a 4800mAh battery along with an 80W flash charging capability the devices feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, various audio codecs support, facial recognition, and more.
Speaking about the camera department, the Vivo S18 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JNI ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12-megapixel IMX663 telephoto shooter that offers 2x optical zoom. The vanilla variant features a 50-megapixel main camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle shooter. Meanwhile, the front has a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The Vivo S18e features a 16MP front-facing camera while the back panel of the device comes with an OIS-enabled 50MP main lens and a 2MP blur lens.
The pricing of the Vivo S18 starts at 2,299 Yuan while the Vivo S18 Pro has a starting price of 3,199 Yuan and the Vivo S18e has a starting price of 2,099 yuan. You can able to purchase the Vivo S18 from December 22 while the S18 Pro model will go on sale alongside the S18e on 13th January 2024. The devices are available in China.
